Munnar 02 Nights + Alleppey 01 Nights 📍 DAY 01: Cochin to Munnar (Munnar, a picturesque hill station in the Western Ghats & Night Stay in Munnar) 📍 Day 02: Full Day Munnar Excursion (Discover tea gardens and natural beauty & Night Stay in Munnar) 📍 DAY 03: Munnar to Alleppey (Experience Alleppey’s backwaters and houseboat & Night Stay on Houseboat) 📍 DAY 04: Alleppey to Cochin Drop (Conclude the trip with a transfer from Alleppey to Cochin) Detailed Itinerary 📌Day 1: COCHIN ARRIVAL – MUNNAR ● Our representative will receive you on arrival from Cochin ( Airport / Railway Station) ● Board the transit arranged and head to Munnar (130 Km | 4 Hrs 30 Min) ● Visit Cheeyapara & Vallara WaterFalls. (Seasonal) ● Tea Garden if it is open and you wish to visit. 📌Day 2: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING ● Mattupetty Dam – A vital hydroelectricity project now a haven for many birds and animals. ● Kundala Lake – Picturesque landscape not to forget Asia’s first Arch Dam. ● Eco Point – A beauty of its own, a great view of Nilgiri Hills. ● Afternoon visit to Top station or Eravikulam (Rajmala) National Park ● Optional to visit Blossom Park & Tea museum if there is time interested. 📌Day 3: MUNNAR - HOUSEBOAT ● After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey/Kumarakam (180 Kms | 5 Hrs) ● Check-in to the Houseboat by 12.30 pm ● Enjoy the backwater cruise in Houseboat till evening 5 O'clock ● Overnight stay in the houseboat 📌Day 4: COCHIN DEPARTURE ● Check-out and proceed for Cochin Departure ● Visit Marari beach if time interested. ● Fort Kochi, Mattanchery, Jew Street etc will cover as per the availability of time ● Cab will drop you at Cochin Airport/Railway station 🧵 Notes ● The cost of renting a single-bedroom houseboat is on the higher end. To make the houseboat experience economical, we come up with the package called “Sharing Houseboat”. On a shared houseboat, you will get a private bedroom in a large houseboat with an upper deck area and a large living space area. ● Houseboats ranging from 6 to 11 bedrooms are offered on a shared basis, ensuring privacy for each couple with individual rooms featuring attached bathrooms within the same houseboat. ● Guests are not permitted to remain or sleep outside the rooms after 10:30 PM. ● Meal plan - Starts with Lunch and ends with Breakfast. The vegetarian and non-buffet style meals served will be of traditional Kerala cuisine. ● Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly to the hotel by guests as per the hotel policy. ● In Munnar, Thekkady, Ootty and Kodaikanal rooms are usually Non - A/C since these are cold regions unless mentioned otherwise. ● Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and the hotel may charge extra for the same. ● In A/C Deluxe Category Houseboat, A/C will be operational only from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. in the bedroom. ● Houseboat check in starts from 12.30 Noon and cruising time is till 5 PM and there after boat will be anchored as per the Government regulations ● For houseboats Deluxe is the base category and premium & luxury boats are higher category houseboats which are available on the additional cost. ● Periyar wildlife boating tickets can be booked online by clicking the below link https://www.periyarfoundation.online ● Some sightseeing spots might be closed on certain days, and we won't be able to compensate if travelling falls on those days. ● We are not responsible for missing sightseeing destinations due to political strikes or roadblocks. ● We do not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in houseboat is included) and personal expenses.
