Itinerary
Day 1
📌GUWAHATI TO BOMDILA 🔹Pickup from GUWAHATI airport/ Railway station 🔹We will begin our journey towards WESTERN ARUNACHAL PRADESH (7-8 hours drive) 🏨 Overnight stay at BOMDILA/DIRANG, take some rest, dinner will be served.
Day 2
📌BOMDILA TO DIRANG 🔹Wake up, have your breakfast & get ready to see the mountain ranges of eastern HIMALAYAS. 🔹Today we will start our journey by visiting BOMDILA MONASTERY estd.1965 (at the height of 7273 ft). The place is inhabited by tribes like- MIJI, MONPA, SHERDUKPEN & KHAWAS. 🔹On the way to DIRANG we will visit THEMBANG FORTIFIED VILLAGE, an UNESCO World Heritage Site of ARUNACHAL PRADESH, which was built over a 1000 years ago within a fort. or 🔹You can visit MANDALA TOP, also known as the 108 MANES, is a spiritually significant site perched over 3,000 meters (around 10,000 feet) above sea level. 🔹From here we will move to SANGTI VALLEY, a picturesque valley famous for its scenic beauty, Apple & Kiwi Orchards, bird watching etc. 🏨 Take some rest in the evening.
Day 3
📌DIRANG TO TAWANG 🔹Wake up, have your breakfast, It's a long journey of 5-6 hours to the Mountain ranges of TAWANG 🔹On this drive, you will be driving up to a maximum altitude of 13,700 feet above sea level 🔹We will visit DIRANG MONESTRY in the morning. 🔹Then SELA PASS at the altitude of 13,700 ft. (The name of the pass was named after SELA for her sacrifice) 🔹SELA LAKE, near the summit of the pass. 🔹JASWANT GARH WAR MEMORIAL (Named after MAHA VIR CHAKRA awardee JASWANT SINGH RAWAT) on the way to TAWANG 🏨 Overnight stay at TAWANG.
Day 4
📌BUMLA PASS & MADHURI LAKE 🔹Wake up very early in the morning, get ready by 8:00-8:30 am. Today we will visit the Mighty BUMLA PASS (Indo-China border 15,200 ft) if permitted by the Army (cost is not included for the local union cab). 🔹On the way we will visit SANGETSAR LAKE popularly known as MADHURI LAKE 🔹Then PTSo LAKE 🔹Back to hotel in the afternoon. 🔹In the evening we will visit TAWANG WAR MEMORIAL & Light and sound show at TAWANG WAR MEMORIAL. 🍽️ Back to hotel, take some rest, dinner will be served. 🏨 Overnight stay at TAWANG
Day 5
📌TAWANG TO DIRANG 🔹Early in the morning visit TAWANG MONASTERY, founded in 1680-81 by MERAK LAMA LODRE GYATSO, is the largest monastery in India and the second largest in the World. Located in ARUNACHAL PRADESH at an elevation of about 10,000 feet, it offers stunning views of the TAWANG VALLEY and the HIMALAYAS 🔹Then the Giant BUDDHA STATUE. 🔹In between we will visit NURANANG WATERFALLS (popularly known as JUNG WATERFALLS) 🏨 From here we will move to DIRANG/BOMDILA for night stay.
Day 6
📌BOMDILA/DIRANG TO GUWAHATI 🔹It's your last day of the trip. So get ready for the long drive. 🍽️ After breakfast we will leave for GUWAHATI. 🔹On the way, enjoy the natural scenic beauty. 🔹Reach GUWAHATI in the evening, your journey ends here.

The alternate accommodation cost due to the same should be borne by the guests. 🔹Numerous factors such as weather and road conditions the physical ability of participants etc. may bring alteration in the itinerary. We are not responsible for that.

❌ Any entry ticket at exploration sites ❌ Lunch, Dinner & any beverages ❌ Personal expenses ❌ Union taxi for Bumla Pass & Madhuri lake. ❌ All things not mentioned in itinerary 🧵Special Note 🔹Pickup time 8-8.15 in the morning from Guwahati airport only for backpacking group trips. 🔹Drop by 8-9 p.m on the last day, near Guwahati airport. 🔹It is advised to book your flights/train one day before & after arrival & departure. It may get late to reach back in Guwahati on the last day of the trip, so if we get late and you missed your flight or train we’re not responsible. 🔹Trip captain will be provided on more than 9 pax in the backpacking group departure. 🔹To visit Bumla pass & madhuri lake you have to hire a local union vehicle, it will cost you Rs: 5500/- govt. price (5-6 people can easily share) 🔹Stays are subject to their availability, in case the shown properties are packed, we will provide the same standard category stay. 🔹Power supply is a big issue in Tawang during winter. The heater does not work sometimes due to the heavy load of electricity. 🔹No extra places will be covered that are not mentioned in the itinerary. 🔹Pickup & drop locations for group trips will be provided by the trip captain/ coordinator.
